How do I connect my Ausclimate EcoSmart panel heater to the app?

To connect your Ausclimate EcoSmart panel heater, download the free Ausclimate app, tap Add device, and hold the heater's pairing button until its Wi-Fi light flashes quickly. Then enter your Wi-Fi name and password. Your phone must be on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

This works with the EcoSmart Panel Heater range (ACPH710, ACPH720, ACPH730) and the EcoSmart Pro Panel Heater range (ACPH900, ACPH905, ACPH910, ACPH915). Once connected, you can control the heater from your phone, use the weekly scheduler, and link it to Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Before you start

  1. Download the Ausclimate app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open it, tap Register, and create an account.
  3. Turn Bluetooth on on your phone.
  4. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
  5. Keep the heater and your phone close to your Wi-Fi router.

Pair with Bluetooth (newer heaters)

Most Ausclimate Smart Wi-Fi products made from 2023 onwards pair with Bluetooth.

  1. In the app, tap Add device, or the + in the top right corner.
  2. Wait a few seconds for your heater to appear, or tap Auto scan, then tap Go to add.
  3. When the app asks, hold down the button it shows on your heater until the Wi-Fi light flashes quickly (3 to 4 times a second).
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi name and password. The heater connects.

If your heater doesn't appear, or the connection times out, use EZ mode.

Pair with EZ mode

EZ mode needs your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to have its own name. If your router shows only one Wi-Fi name, your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks are combined, and you'll need to split them in your modem settings.

  1. Tap Add device or +, choose the heater category on the left, then your model.
  2. Hold the button the app shows until the Wi-Fi light flashes quickly.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi name and password.

If it times out, use AP mode.

Pair with AP mode

  1. Tap Add device or +, choose the category, then your model.
  2. In the top right corner, change EZ Mode to AP Mode.
  3. Hold the button the app shows until the Wi-Fi light flashes quickly. Then hold it again until the light flashes slowly (once a second).
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi name and password.

Still won't connect?

  1. Move the heater and your phone closer to your router.
  2. Check your phone is on the 2.4 GHz network.
  3. Check the heater's Wi-Fi light is flashing before you start pairing.
