Yes, the pre-filter requires cleaning regularly, at least every 14 days. They are easily removed and cleaned by a vacuum cleaner – refer to instruction manual for each specific model as they may have different filter configurations.

The pre-filter captures the larger particles and cleaning this filter will prolong the life of the HEPA filter and activated carbon filter.

NOTE: The HEPA filter and activated carbon filter must NOT be washed – they should be replaced approximately every 12 months or when alerted by the machine 'replacement filter notification'.
